Terra Eclipse is hiring a full-time Account Manager to immediately join our expanding team.

Terra Eclipse (http://terraeclipse.com) is a political web development and new media strategy firm headquartered outside of the San Francisco Bay area in Aptos, California. Founded in 1999, we have earned a reputation as a preeminent tech company on the right. We work with conservative political groups to meet the online needs of campaigns, political organizations, and a select number of private businesses.

YOUR ROLE

Your job duties will include a combination of account management and sales and marketing responsibilities for clients of Terra Eclipse and NetBoots (http://netboots.net), a service of Terra Eclipse. These duties can -- and will -- expand based on your performance and enthusiasm. Keep in mind, too, that we are a growing company with an active client base, so everyone will play multiple roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management

• Manage independent client accounts for NetBoots (http://netboots.net), a service of Terra Eclipse. From contract signing to site launch and ongoing support thereafter: including an introduction to the system, answering questions, and providing support for minor technical issues.

• Be the online campaign strategist for NetBoots clients. Proactively help them take full advantage of the tools at their disposal.

• Manage, or assist in managing, large-scale projects from contract signing to site launch and ongoing support thereafter. You will oftentimes be the main day-to-day contact for clients and will work closely with the Creative Director to meet requests and track progress of ongoing issues.

Sales and Marketing

• Write copy for NetBoots and Terra Eclipse web sites. Create new and update existing NetBoots user guide pages.

• Blog for the Terra Eclipse and NetBoots sites. This includes blogging about new Terra Eclipse clients, new technologies Terra Eclipse is using, new employees, etc.

• Assist the NetBoots team in the implementation of a marketing and advertising strategy, both online and offline. Including research, data collection, and analysis.

• Respond to incoming call requests, but also be willing to reach out to different portions of the market for new clients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Personal and/or professional interest in politics on the right, particularly the new media and tech spheres.

• Demonstrated interest and/or relevant experience in politics and campaigning as well as new media and web 2.0 technology.

• Strong preference to people with knowledge of and/or experience in blogging, Twittering, new media strategy, pay-per-click advertising, site analytics, and web development.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Extraordinarily strong communication skills, both written and spoken, because account management and sales are fundamentally about communicating with clients and potential clients. You should be at ease drafting and editing written copy, quickly producing professional emails, and talking with anyone and everyone over the phone or in person.

• Can-do, youthful, attitude and strong work ethic. You should be eager to take on new tasks and learn new skills. This isn't an office where you can say "that's not my job"; it is an office where you will have a wide array of experiences in technology, politics, and communications.

• Attention to detail as well as the ability to multitask and work well under deadlines. We are a fast-paced office with multiple projects ongoing and incoming at all times. You must be able to keep track of proposal and project issues, and follow up with our in-house design and development teams as necessary.

• Ability to work independently and in a group. You must be able to take initiative to develop and complete projects on your own and also work closely, and oftentimes jointly, with other members of our team.
