Job Description
Terra Eclipse is seeking a motivated, hands-on Developer to immediately join our expanding team to help produce dynamic, content managed websites and online tools for national political candidates, non-profit organizations, and private corporations.

The successful candidate will be passionate about creating unique functionality utilizing the LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) software bundle with Drupal (drupal.org) while turning design files into pixel-perfect XHTML and CSS mark up and template files.

This position is available at Terra Eclipse, Inc. in Aptos, CA.

This is a full time, salaried position at our company headquarters in Aptos.
You must be willing to cease related freelance and contract work during employment.
No telecommuters or outsourcing firms.

Your Role
As a Developer, you will work on projects for external clients as well as internal Terra Eclipse projects. You will work closely with our designers, other developers, and project managers to ensure deadlines are met. You are a resourceful, quick learner who works well under pressure. You can work both independently, as well as part of a team. You enjoy the challenge of developing new ideas from start to finish in order to help create an exciting experience for the end user and take pride in the projects you work on. In addition to your computer skills and talents, you can bring to the team an open mind and a positive attitude.

Required Experience and Skills:
• 2+ years of hand-coded web development; collaborative experience preferred
• 1 year PHP (LAMP) experience
• Expert hands-on knowledge of XHTML/CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
• Experience translating Adobe Photoshop website design concepts and wireframes into flexible and usable code templates
• Strong working knowledge developing cross platform/browser compatible code (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, Mobile Browsers, etc.) for dynamic web applications
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug your own and/or team code
• Good understanding of Content Management Systems; Drupal implementation knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of accessibility concerns,common cross-browser issue workarounds, and image format optimization
